It's time to dance for the other festival guests. Solo, duet, trio, group, raks sharqi, Turkish style, Roman Havasi,Folklore, bollywood, tribal, fusion, .....all styles and performances are welcomed. If you wish to participate in the open stage show,

please do not forget to mark in your registration form.

Participation is free of charge, but place is limited so advance registration is recommended.

The song for Open Stage Show MAXIMUM 3:00 MINUTES !!!!!!!

Today we are saying goodbye to Istanbul and our fellow belly dancer friends.

Check out is 12:00

Festival or Full Package is included 

*3 nights Room (shaaring 2 up to 3 persoon) with breakfast (NO DINNER )

*Opening Gala show with international Stars.

*Wacth to Competition and open stage show

*All the workshops. More then 30 hours, from more then 15 Turkish & International Masters ( you can take how much you want !!!!)

Rules for Competition & Open Stage Show 

 1- Your music should be maximum 3:00 minutes !!!  If  it  is longer, DJ will have to fade out the music at the end of 3:00 minutes.

 2- Please send us your song and bring your music in a USB Stick (no iphone / ipod,.. please).

 3- Please write down your name on the USB in English. There should be only one song in  the USB. Please bring a spare one just in case. It is your responsibility to make sure your music works. If your Song or USB Stick does not work, you won't be able to attend the competition. You will be able to take your USB Stick back after the show.

4-IMPORTANT

For participate to the competition or Open Stage Show you need to register to Full package or Festival Package or minimum 4 workshops need to take !!!

  Competition Categories are as follows:

GOLDEN AGE

- its +55 style is free of choice. Song maximum 3 min. 

AMATEUR CATEGORY

 - Raks Sharqi: Egyptian Style music & choreography ( Not drum solo only !!! )

 - Turkish Style: Turkish Music, Choreography (Not drum solo only !!! )

 - Show/fusion style: Can be Veil, Sword, Poi, Fan veils, Drum solo, ...

 - Folklor: Saidi, Baladi, Meleya lef, Turkish Romani Dance, Turkish Folklore,…. Any  other  Folklore style

PROFESSIONAL CATEGORY

- Raks Sharqi: Egyptian Style music & choreography ( Not drum solo only !!! )

- Turkish Style: Turkish Music, Choreography (Not drum solo only !!! )

- Show/fusion style: Can be Veil, Sword, Poi, Fan veils, Drum solo, ...

"Oriental Dance Star" Competition

This competition will take place on Saturday night of the festival.

The competition will be in 3 parts : Professional & Amateurs and Golden Age 4 categories : Raqs Sharki, Turkish Style, Fusion & Show style, Folklore.

You can compete in 4 different category. Like “Raqs Sharki Style” AND/ OR “Turkish Style” OR  “Show/Fusion Style” (can be isis wings, fun veils, sword dance, drum solo, etc) For more info you can send us email.

Fees of the Competition

30€ per person for solo

20€ per person for group.

(Competition fees can pay in festival hotel to info desk)

Don’t wait to long to take your place in one of the competition.Place is limited !!

For participate to the competitions you need to fill in registration form ( be sure to make your deposit  payment )

!!! Your music must be maximum 3:00 minutes !!!

Tips for this competition: Try to stay in the category with your costume, style, music, choreo, etc

The winner is :

- Will have the title "Oriental Dance Star 2026" and will be announced on festival website and festival facebook, instagram, twitter page.

- Will get prize, certificate, crown,...

- Will get 50% discount for Rakkas Istanbul Festival 2027 !  ”

- Will perform in Gala Show of 2027
